Requirements:

- Degree in Computer Science or similar
Very proficient in Python, 5+ years of professional experience in a technically complex Linux environment and understanding not only how to write Python code but also how to package and deploy it
Several years of experience with game or simulation engines and related tooling (Nvidia Omniverse preferred, Unreal, Unity) and familiar with typical tasks when working with 3D assets (USD, URDF and mesh file manipulation)
Self-Driven Communicator: Beyond your technical skills, your self-motivation and excellent communication abilities stand out
You are fluent in English
You bring a startup mindset to work iterative with focus on usable solutions for the end user



Responsibilities:

- You take charge of setting up, extending, and maintaining our simulation environment
You develop code in Python on Linux and work with simulation engines such as Nvidia Omniverse Issac Sim or Gazebo
You thrive in the systems complexity of integrating various technology stacks, enhancing the functionality of our simulation platform
You work independently and drive your roadmap based on engagement with the various users of the simulation environment
You assess when to take work on your own and when to engage with 3rd party vendors to bring improvements to the platform
You deliver reliable software through code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing
Working in a startup like environment within a global company, with flat hierarchies and high personal influence
