In this function, you will support our Team in a very broad, dynamic and globally oriented environment with focus on executing LATAM & UAE specific business development projects:

Requirements / Experience

To succeed in this highly dynamic and challenging business environment, we are looking for an entrepreneurially spirited team player with the following qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in business or finance combined with a completed CFA or CAIA
  • More than five years of work experience in Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, M&A or corporate finance
  • Significant experience working in or with emerging markets
  • Good investment market knowledge including regulatory requirements in LatAm (focus Brazil, Mexico, Colombia) and UAE
  • Proven network of relevant LATAM & UAE business relations
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling/structuring skills for a variety of debt/equity/mezzanine instruments to evaluate market potentials (including DCF- and LBO modelling, Monte Carlo simulations etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to independently develop strategic models; capable of sound financial analysis of the models to draw conclusions
  • Prudent and sustainable risk- and financial management knowledge
  • Knowledge of current economic and political affairs within LATAM & UAE regions including sector trends and relevant regulatory changes
  • Excellent problem solving skills, good negotiation and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial and pro-active attitude, ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to operate in geographically dispersed teams; availability to travel internationally
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to effectively navigate diverse cultural environments and build rapport with local stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish, German is a plus.
