Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You provide legal advice on procurement projects and customer contracts as well as legal and strategic advice to project teams and management, negotiation of agreements, support to drafting of agreements and templates, analysis and advice on claims and general legal/contractual matters.

  • You have experience and deal with general certification and regulatory issues in the aviation industry, including Dual-Use and Export Control related issues, with internal and external (e.g., EASA / FAA) stakeholders.

  • You contribute to the adaptation of contracts and company processes to new legal developments and requirements.

  • You anticipate and identify legal risks deriving from projects, contracts or transactions and provide legal advice to mitigate such risks.

  • You will be encouraged to diversify your experience over time by supporting different business areas, such as IP and Corporate Law, in line with the strategic objectives of the Legal Department.

Desired skills and qualifications:

  • You finished your law degree and are fully qualified and licensed lawyer under Swiss law or another jurisdiction.

  • You have gained several years of relevant experience as in-house legal counsel or in a law firm in the aviation sector.

  • You are experienced in contract negotiation and drafting in an international context.
    You bring a profound understanding of the business environment with a good ability to think strategically.

  • You have an analytical, proactive and pragmatic mindset with a problem-solving attitude.

  • You bring strong written and interpersonal English communication and negotiation skills combined with a team player attitude.

  • Experience with IT/Digital legal matters is a plus.
